Musa Mohammed Danmusa, popularly known as New Prince, is a talented musician and actor from Gombe. He earned his bachelor's degree in English from the Federal University, Kashere. His passion for music began in childhood, leading him to start his career as a musician in 2008. Danmusa is versatile, performing in several genres including Hausa Afrobeats, Hausa Fuji, and Pop. He has released seven albums, with his song Dattijjo gaining significant popularity and earning him the Excellence Award from The Presidency. In 2018, Danmusa transitioned to acting, joining the Kannywood film industry. He made his debut in the TV series Alaqa and has since featured in four films. Currently, he plays the antagonist in Labarina, the biggest TV series in northern Nigeria and other regions where the Hausa language is spoken.
