StringzShady is a name that resonates with rhythm, storytelling, and culture. Born in Biu, Borno State, in the heart of North-East Nigeria, he is a dynamic fusion of talents. With a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and an MBA from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, he has successfully built a multifaceted career as a banker, project manager, singer, songwriter, and performer. His music sets him apart as a master storyteller. StringzShady’s Afro-folk melodies are deeply rooted in the contemporary Arewa style, blending rich narratives with acoustic brilliance. His guitar, affectionately named Laraba, becomes a voice of its own, creating vivid imagery that touches hearts and minds. StringzShady's artistic journey began in 2002 with the stage play "MR. PROFESSOR," produced by ABU's Theatre and Performing Arts students. A career-defining moment came in December 2003 when he performed for Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II, during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Abuja. Over the years, he has graced notable stages, including the Kaduna Book and Arts Festival (KABAFEST) in 2019, the Yasmin El-Rufai Foundation (YELF) Literary Evening, TEDx Baze University, and the Hausa International Book and Arts Festival (HIBAF) in 2021, where his powerful "TANTABARA SONG" captivated audiences. StringzShady is a passionate advocate for cultural growth in Northern Nigeria, leveraging his music, poetry, and art to inspire change.
