Bayo Omoboriowo, MFR, is a distinguished visual storyteller, creative and cultural anthropologist, and documentary photographer celebrated for his innovative approach and excellence in the field. Over a decade-long career, Bayo has consistently pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling, blending mixed media to create compelling narratives that resonate globally. Driven by his passion for cultural preservation and storytelling, Bayo founded Madhouse, a creative enterprise development platform, and Tikera Africa, a solution provider for the creative industry. These initiatives are testaments to his dedication to fostering creativity and empowering emerging artists. His exceptional work has earned him accolades, including the MTN Afrinolly film competition in Nigeria and the Sundance Institute Film Prize in the USA. His artistry has been featured on prestigious platforms such as CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and The New York Times, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in visual storytelling. Academically, Bayo holds a master’s degree in arts and cultural management from King's College London and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Between 2015 and 2023, he served as the official photographer and special assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari, capturing pivotal moments in Nigeria’s history with unparalleled depth and insight. Among his notable achievements, Bayo's project "Discover Nigeria" secured a Guinness World Record for the largest photo book in the world. His remarkable contributions to national imagery have been recognized with the National Productivity Order of Merit Award and his appointment as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) of Nigeria. Bayo’s expertise has been sought by organizations such as Sahara Energy, Oando Foundation, NLNG, Malaria No More UK, USAID, and Dell Nigeria.
