Ibrahim's advocacy journey began at just 9 years old, fueled by a determination to champion children's rights and catalyze meaningful change. As the elected Speaker of the Borno State Children’s Parliament, Ibrahim was a key figure in the historic signing of the Child Rights Act in Borno State, a milestone achievement that set a precedent for other states in Nigeria. His leadership extended to a national level when he was elected Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s National Children’s Parliament, where he represented millions of children in their quest for education, safety, and a promising future. On the international stage, Ibrahim has represented African children at high-profile events such as the Children Affected by Armed Conflict (CAAC) conference in Nairobi and the African Union’s Peace and Security Council meeting in Gambia. His efforts at these events include direct engagements with global leaders, advocating for actionable commitments to address the pressing challenges faced by children and youth globally. As a Global Campaign Adviser for Save the Children’s Generation Hope initiative and an Ambassador for Child Refugees, Ibrahim’s work symbolizes a new era of youth-driven leadership.
