Hydronamics Limited
Hamza Yunusa is an innovator and entrepreneur, and the CEO of Hydronamics Limited, a company using technology to improve efficiency and profitability in Nigeria's water sector. Motivated by a personal encounter with unsafe water consumption, he developed the Filter-X360, a machine that purifies 1,000 liters of water per hour and has been piloted in Owerri, Uguoriakhi in Benin, and Abuja.
He also led the creation of an IoT-based prepaid smart water meter that helps utilities cut costs, prevent leakages, and enable customers to pay conveniently through mobile devices. The solution has been piloted in Kaduna and the FCT, with plans to expand across Northern Nigeria.
Hamza's leadership and commitment to community-focused innovation have earned him national and international recognition. In 2018, he represented Nigeria at the MIT Bootcamp, honored for his problem-solving mindset and drive for impactful change.
