2025 theme: Building Bridges
TEDxBauchi 2025 is proud to adopt "Building Bridges" as this year's theme — a forward-looking, inclusive, and transformative idea that encapsulates our vision of uniting people, ideas, generations, cultures, and technologies.
As our world becomes increasingly complex and fragmented, the imperative to connect across divides—social, generational, economic, cultural, political, and technological—has never been greater. With this theme, we aim to inspire our speakers and audience to explore how we can foster empathy, inclusion, innovation, peace, and shared progress by building bridges, not walls.
Relevance to Global and Local Context
In Northern Nigeria and Bauchi in particular, youth often feel excluded from larger national conversations. Opportunities to collaborate across sectors, ideologies, age groups, and disciplines are limited. TEDxBauchi 2025 seeks to provide a platform to spotlight bridge-building efforts in entrepreneurship, education, innovation, climate action, peacebuilding, technology, and gender inclusion.
Globally, we are at the intersection of deepening polarisation and unprecedented opportunity. Whether it's bridging the digital divide, the climate justice gap, or disparities in education and innovation, the call to build bridges is urgent and global.
