TEDxBauchi Team Retreat

As part of our quest to organize a memorable and outstanding TEDx event in Nigeria, our TEDxBauchi Organizing Team had a productive retreat, following our last one at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja a few months ago.

Our strong and resilient team had many deep and insightful discussions to ensure every action reflected an excellent output on our big day. A surprise visit by our mentor and role model, an embodiment of integrity, hard work, and generosity, Mal. Bala Wunti, made our retreat even more fulfilling. He gave us words of encouragement to keep putting in the hard work and effort for the good work we are doing.

While encouraging us to always find a way to give to society in whatever capacity we can, we had the opportunity to go on a historical journey on how Mal. Bala Wunti established the Wunti Al-Khair Foundation many years ago. Mal. Bala Wunti also requested our support to help in developing the end-to-end operational framework of the foundation to enable it to create even more impact through its projects. Our team is indeed excited about this task, and we see it as an opportunity to further volunteer and give back to society. The team appreciates Mal. Bala Wunti’s trust and guidance and is looking forward to presenting the completed work soon.
